Myndos on the Bodrum Peninsular of Turkey:

Ancient Greek city Myndos, now known as Gumusluk is a great little place to visit from Bodrum. The restaurants are famous for their fish dishes. There is a shoreline that you can take a walk along or go swimming, though it could not realyy be classed as a beach. Myndos is fabulous for snorkeling as you can still see some remains of the ancient city. You can take a walk over to Rabbit Islands as the water leading over to the Island is only knee-deep. From atop of the iisland you see lovely views over the village.
